To explain why comments were deleted - I am sick of the blog being hijacked by a certain person's superfans and will actively be deleting all irrelevant comments about he who shall not be named.

Well good we have alot to talk about other then the this persons superfan. We have city employees asking to take a 24% pay decrease and the mayor keeps saying ten to fool people do you think the hn will ever do a story on this very upsetting issue.

Can you explain where the 24% is coming from? Noting the fat in the Mayor's office and particular emphasis on the excessive number of high paid city attorney staff, Councilor Steve Camara requested, at tonight's council meeting, that the council take a more active role in the budget process.

Don't call it a comeback, he's been here for years! The Mayor controls the City Council and new member Brian Bigelow and also the School Committee. What comeback? No shock there, that's been known for a while.

Correia does need a comeback though for his approval ratings. Being a fan you must've also been privy to his polling data or heard one of his loudmouth supporters complaining about it. His numbers are in the toilet. All the power plays in the world may not save him assuming someone credible runs against him.

Shamrock,

You are going to have to start supplying us with some material to laugh at if you are ditching the supahfans comments. That is, after all, the only thing those comments were good for. A good laugh.

I really think that they should put all of the desks in the City Council Chamber in a circle. Thst way, they could be a real "circular firing squad."
