Of course this headline out of Boston is referring to a member of our delegation...Mike Rodrigues.

I cannot believe the the nerve of this guy. He has been a Rep. too long. He is taking advantage and taking his office for granted.
I say we give him the boot! Nice spend your money in NH, the taxes you save go to pay your salary dumb a$$. Anyone with any kind of business should be on the phone calling him, and to say "mind your own business" come on you are a public figure everything about you is our business! Everyone buy your rugs in NH and at Empire carpet!
what is a rumpswab?

Rodrigues is obviously not the sharpest knife in the drawer. You should see the political vermin who donate to his campaign - the feds should be empaneling a grand jury, just on spec alone.
He took dough from Richard Vitale, indicted Sal DiMasi’s indicted accountant. (His committee handled a bill that would have benefitted one of Vitale’s very ethical clients, the ticket-scalping community.)
Other Rodrigues contributors include Felon Finneran, who gave him $200, and Mrs. Felon Finneran, who not being a lobbyist was able to chip in $500.
After his conviction, Felon Finneran was replaced as the top lobbyist of the Mass. Biotech Council by ex-Rep. Bob Coughlin, who is mentioned in the recent DiMasi indictment. Coughlin gave $200. Ex-Sen. Henri “Kickenbach” Rauschenbach, indicted but not convicted, also chipped in the lobbyist’s traditional $200. Ex-Sen. Biff MacLean was good for $125, Bulger rumpswab Bobby Karam put up $150.
Do you get the picture?
Rumpswab sounds like another word for "Asswipe" (Rump=Ass,Swab=Wipe). Bob Karam is an Asswipe? Sounds about right...
more good press for fall river, companies will be rushing to come here and give us 6500 jobs for sure.
Of course, The Herald Snooze NEVER breaks any stories like this.
I don't take the Sterile Snooze and if it wasn't for Dion, I wouldn't go to their hard to navigate crappy web site full of bad spelling, typos and stories about edit-ho Lisa Strattan's boyfriend's taxpayer-screwing business
you sound like a scorned lover
you sound like a scorned lover
Yeah...if she'd ever turned any guy down
sounds like you were turned down
2005 booze run

50 people showed up for The Sterile's big candates night last night! HAHAHAHAHAHA
No one cares about anything this failing paper does. The blogs rule now. Joke paper. Joke editor, Crappy website. Typos. Mistakes.
Funny thing is the photo of his car is from his recent booze run and the pic of him with the UMass hat on is from the last time he got caught skipping the State House to go on a booze run at a Westport vineyard. If they showed you the whole pic it was him carrying a case of wine. In 2005 he skipped a State House session to go to a brewery and then a winery.
Rodrigues is a rep that is always missing in action. Seriously, when do you see him or hear from him in Fall River? Maybe he represents Westport somewhat because he shows up at a winery or two from time to time but Fall River is getting the shaft. I'm not the biggest Ed Lambert fan but when he was a State Rep he actually represented Fall River and Westport all of the time and not just Westport some of the time. We need to find a strong Fall River candidate to run against this guy. I think a good part of his district in Fall River is the Flint because that's where Lambert was from. Anyone know anybody that is popular in the Flint? They would have my vote for sure.
And check out the video clip from the usually crappy Fox News, except this time they did a good job, their interview with Rodrigues was hilarious and a must see. It was clear Rodrigues is used to hiding and no media attention at all because he was like a deer in headlights.
sar said he was hiding in their studio because news crews were waiting for him outside.

Enjoy the article and the 2005 photo of his last alcohol binge that was superimposed over his car in the parking lot during his 2009 alcohol binge. He supposedly bought a bottle of gin, rum, vodka and 3 bottles of wine. Last time he was caught hauling a whole case or two of wine.
I don't have a problem with a rep that likes to party but don't pick up your booze in a state car or even your personal vehicle with a state plate. A booze run is best conducted in a personal vehicle with personal plates not special ones.
And I object to his 2005 booze run which he is apparently repeating again this year and has every year. Don't skip out on the State House to go to wineries and breweries. Do your job up in Boston or in your district office. This guy isn't a very hard worker and the people of Fall River are hard workers. He doesn't represent us. Let's bounce him out of office.
