So the trolley wasn't there. Also, Correia's campaign finance report came out last week and SHOCKINGLY, his "personal" donation was from his campaign funds and not really a check from his "personal" account."I am pleased to join with Ms. Cloutier and Mr. Donovan by personally making a donation and by making available the city trolley" Mayor Correia SouthCoast Today 12/31/08
(Although made out to CD Rec, the donation was to 2008 New Year's Eve in the Neighborhood/Back to Main Street Event - processing the money though CD Rec allowed use of their non profit status for tax purposes)12/8/2008

I knew this would be the case.
So in other words we should be thanking the people that donate to Correia, not Correia.
Many pols say they give to charity, but when you look it up they do not give a single penny. Many donate through their campaign funds.
While people like you and I donate directly from our pocket, not some side fund that is not really our money.
No shame. People should cut out the middle man (Correia) and make donations directly and get the tax write-off themselves.
Wait! Let me put on my surprised face...
Oh, wait. I am not surprised.
Moving on...
Is there any way to get Correia's finance reports (mayor, not state rep) online? If not, can someone post them? I'm sure it would take up a lot of bandwidth, though...
Correia hasn't changed his 'office sought' information yet and is still registering his campaign information as a state rep http://www.efs.cpf.state.ma.us/SearchReportResults.aspx?cpfId=10106
