Another item to remember....Bob Correia served on the committee that chose the South Main site. During the meetings that were held, the lack of parking came up. Bob Correia knew well in advance that that area lacked parking, he was informed about it.

Good point. I think the SRTA administrator let Bob off the hook for something Bob was definitely aware of and in which he played a role.

Mayor Correia does not want the bus terminal downtown. You may recall that he had mentioned a plan for a transportation hub, including a bus station, along with the train station on Davol St.

but this story is contradictory to what is said in the herald news today.

Not having a bus station is a joke when you use these buses to transport students, Fall River is the only district in this area to us these buses for transpotation which is not even 100% legal becuase they are required to provide transportation and really the SRTA is doing it not the FRPS.
