More South Main Street Violence

Man shot outside Fall River club
Victim remains in hospital

FALL RIVER MASS (WPRI) - A shooting in Fall River is under investigation. A man was shot on the corner of South Main and Globe St outside of Club International.
The shooting happened just before 2:00 Saturday morning. The victim was taken to an area hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
Fall River Police say the District Attorney's office and The Major Crimes division is investgating the shooting.

    Information on an incident like this often comes in slowly. You report what you know, even if the details are few. That's better than assuming that the victim went to St. Anne's because it's close to the area of the shooting. It's better to get the story out there, even if there isn't much fact assembled yet.

    I agree anon, it is important to get what you know out there as soon as you can. However, reporting the event 14 hours after it occurred, as the HN did, gives much time to fill in some blanks. It wasn't exactly a breaking story after 14 hours later.

    Information comes in very slow if ur the Sterile Snooze.
    No one askes the Snooze to assume.
    People want the Snooze to find out
    What was his name? What happened?
    More than 24 hours later and The Sterile knows nothing. Watch some more TV, Sterile..or wait for Hurricane on Monday
